Confessions of a Founder

I have a confession to make.
I never really used TikTok.
And lately… it’s been on my mind.
Not because I think I should have.
But because I feel like I might have missed something.
Fifteen years ago, I left corporate with just an idea.
No business plan.
No funding.
No team.
I started a blog.
It got picked up everywhere, even The New York Times.
And still… I made no money.
I pitched.
I emailed.
I built decks.
Nothing worked.
Until someone said something simple:
“If you can’t monetize your own platform…
there are probably hundreds of people just like you.”
So I shifted.
I started helping other creators get brand deals.
One turned into hundreds.
Then thousands.
That became BabbleBoxx.
And here’s what I keep coming back to:
I may not have been the creator.
But I understood how brands and sponsorships work.
Not everyone is meant to be in front of the camera.
Some of us are meant to build what happens behind it.
But… I’m starting anyway.
I’m just getting started on TikTok.
If there’s anything you’ve ever wanted to ask, learn, or see, send it my way.
Questions, ideas, or just saying hi, always welcome: Sherri@BabbleBoxx.com
